About
The School of Worship was founded by Curb/Warner Bros. recording artist Nate Sallie. After a decade of leading worship around the world, recording and writing numerous radio hits, Dove nominations, and serving as the lead singer for the Grammy nominated group, Newsong, Nate felt called to combine these wonderful experiences including his degree in music education to create a safe place where musicians and dancers of all ages and stages could step into their God given gifts. That place? The School of Worship. The response has been astounding, and in serving approximately 225 students weekly has become a true representation of our community.
“I absolutely love what my son is learning at the School of Worship. He’s learning to be a skilled musician, but so much more than that, he’s learning to be a worshipper–what he’s been designed by God to be.”
Rob Howard, Pastor of Worship and Arts

Vision
Our vision is to raise up and release the next generation of excellent musicians and passionate worshipers using a unique curriculum to instill a lifelong engagement with music and worship in students of all ages and stages.
Our Process
We believe that the mentor/student relationship is key. The music mentor teaching team assembled at the SOW is one of excellent musicians and passionate worshipers. These are men and women who are investing their time and talent into the next generation. Studetns of all ages are able to discern rather quickly whether their teacher is invested wholeheartedly in them and their growth or if they are simply “putting in time.” Students recognize rapidly whether their teacher is authentically interesed in them or whether they are a “hireling.” We believe the student is best served and displays the greatest growth when they are engaged and drawn out by their music mentor. This allows the student to step into their God given musical giftings, and enjoy the gift of music! Whether music is a career calling, a ministry calling or simply a sharing of musical interests with friends and family, they will find that music instruction is a lifelong rich and rewarding adventure!
Celebration
The SOW Celebration is held each April. The Celebration offers students the opportunity to share their music with a live audience. More advanced students are awarded the opportunity to play and sing with an “all star” band made up of the SOW teaching team. This allows older students a chance to interact with other musicians on the platform, and gives younger students something to aspire to. The Celebration differs from a traditional recital as it is a celebratory evening saturated in a dynamic atmosphere with each students God Given Gifts truly celebrated!
