Ballet/Lyrical

Students will learn ballet fundamentals and terminology while developing strength, confidence, balance, and flexibility. Lyrical is a fusion of ballet and jazz, with expressive motions that tell a story. Students will learn lyrical technique along with how to express emotion through movement.

Hip Hop

This hip-hop intensive will be geared towards skill development, learning choreography & falling in love with worshiping our Lord. This comes about through laying a solid foundation, expanding in our knowledge & growing as strong warriors. Each class will entail an introduction to Hip-Hop. We will learn a small bit about what God says & its history. Then we will move into “warm up & conditioning” to get our muscles awake & ready to go. From there we will go “across the floor” to develop technique & end with combination & choreography. All young worshipers will be introduced to hip-hop styles ranging from the 1970′s, where it all began, to today’s most recent uproar, i.e. Popping, locking, improvisation & B.Boy fundamentals.

Wednesdays starting August 18th – December 15th
  • 10:00 – 11:00 am – (Adult Beginner)
  • 4:15 – 5:15 pm – (ages 9-12)
Thursdays starting August 19th – December 16th
  • 4:15 – 5:15 pm – (ages 5-9 Boys Only)

What to Wear

Tuition for all Dance Classes

  • $25 Registration Fee
  • $25 for August and then $50 per month for September - December.
Total for the semester – $250.
*If you pay for the semester up front, we will waive the registration fee for a total of $225.

Please note: Due to the fact that these are group classes, there will be no refunds or transferring funds to other private lessons once you have registered.

PRIVATE LESSONS

We also offer private dance lessons for both Ballet/Lyrical and Hip Hop. Tuition is the same as private music lessons, $100/month. Please contact us for more details.
