Drop-off/Pick-up Procedures
- Parents may drop off students for the scheduled lesson time only.
- Please be punctual (arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled lesson).
- Keep in mind that you are paying for your scheduled time slot, so if you arrive late, you will not get a full lesson.
Waiting Area Policies
- Parents, siblings, or anyone accompanying a student, may wait in the waiting room area, but please do not enter the lesson room (feel free to observe through classroom windows).
- Students 10 years and younger MUST be accompanied by an adult in the waiting room area.
- Students may not wait in the lesson rooms. They may only be in the lessons rooms during their scheduled lesson time.
- Please be respectful of the waiting area/facilities (i.e. no running, climbing on furniture, etc).
Cancellations, Weather & Make-Up Lessons
- Please refer to our website for holidays and closings. We observe Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving week, and two weeks at Christmas.
- If your music mentor is unable to teach the lesson, one of our other excellent SoW mentors will substitute for that lesson.
- If music mentor is unavailable and a substitute cannot be secured, the lesson will be made up.
- If the student cancels a lesson during the school year, the lesson will not be made up.
- If the lesson is cancelled due to weather, you will receive e-mail notification and the lesson will be rescheduled.
- When a lesson falls on the fifth week of the month, the student receives that lesson free of charge. This allows students to average four lessons a month over the course of the year.
Communication
- Email is the primary source of communication. Make sure you check your email regularly.
- Our music mentors do not handle scheduling or cancellations. If canceling a lesson, please call (615) 804-1177 or e-mail info@schoolofworshiponline.net
